Never would I have thought that I would be selling salt from Bolivia. A few years back, when I was there, I slept in a hotel made from salt and my bed was carved from a huge block of salt. The next morning I had to sip coca leaf tea to get rid of the stiffness on my body. Today, mining these luscious glimmering grains from the Uyuni Salt Lake is still a labor-intensive job. These grains, which are hand harvested in small rock size, are grated over foods, or our crystals can be sprinkled on pasta, fresh salads, baked potatoes, or eggs and home fries at breakfast.
