Our hand-made copper grater is made exclusively for us by a family in Niigata Prefecture in Japan. All the family members are considered Artisans, as they have mastered skills passed on to them for generations. Making the teeth of the graters is a particularly tedious task, as they are hand punched with an awl-type tool, so only about 25 per day are made for us.

Packed in a handsome gift box are two rock salts; weights approximately 6.5-8 ounces, our pink rock comes from the Himalayas (considered the Abode of Gods), and our luminous crystal rock comes from Brazil. Grate the rock salt on all seafood and poultry or over fresh salads, baked potatoes, or eggs and home fries at breakfast.
