Ingredients:

- 1/2 lb chicken, ground
- won-ton wrappers
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 1/4 inch fresh ginger, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Nirmala's Kitchen Wild Fire Blend
- 2 tsp Nirmala's Kitchen Malay Curry Powder

- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
- 2 oz coconut milk
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 bunch long chives
- 1/4 tsp salt
- oil for deep frying

Directions:
|
- In a pan heat the oil; add spices, shallot, ginger,
garlic and coconut milk, cook for 30 seconds. add chicken
and Cook for another 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool. Add 1 tbsp chives
and salt.
- Brush edges of won-ton wrappers with beaten egg.
Place 2 tsp of cooled mixture on each wrapper.
- Pull up edges of wrappers, pinching and twisting
tops to seal. Deep fry filled wrappers in hot oil until
light golden.
- Garnish: Place long strips of chives in a wet paper
towel; microwave on high for 2 minutes. Remove, let
cool and use to tie the pouches with bows.
