Madagascar Cloves (whole)
Native to the Moluccan Islands of Indonesia, cloves are the unopened flower buds from the tree of the myrtle
family. The flowers grow in clusters, and the buds are greenish-pink and become red as they mature. The clove
buds are then harvested and sun-dried for four to five days, hence the brown color. The pungent yet fruity
flavor marries well into meats, spice rubs and desserts.
Comes in our signature airtight tin, which measures 2-1/2 inches in diameter and 1-3/4 inches in height.
